A Cold...Now... You have to be kidding me.
I thought I was going to be so lucky with this pregnancy. I have had a wonderful experience thus far. No morning sickness, not a lot cramps..not really feeling pregnant. (except for the little spotting I had at the beginning.)
So Friday...it starts with just a runny nose I thought nothing new. But the time I left the office on Friday my ankles were no longer ankles they were HUGE CANKLES!!!! Horrible. Saturday, I had a sore throat and stopped up nose. But I just relaxed while Mich did a little yard work. Sunday...totally skipped church because of the way I felt. However, I did manage to go the Movies and see The Soloists. It was a very good movie. I was tired of being stuck in the house.
Today, I felt a little better....but now I am going back into my "bubble" head feeling. I really want to take a nap. But I think I am stuck here by my loyalty. CRAZY!!!
Well, today....it is officially 3 months til my due date. I am so ready to see her. Just not ready in the sense that we have not 100% completed the nursery...nor to we have anything we really need for the this baby.

26 Weeks ....3 more months to go!
Wow....Only 3 more months left to go.
I am getting more and more excited about her big arrival. We signed up for birthing classes for June and a breastfeeding class in June as well. I am still not 100% sure what I plan on doing but I think the class will only help and be useful for knowledge.
Mich is off this weekend so we will be attacking that long list of "to dos" before July 27th! But also, we are going to try to relax and enjoy the pretty weather we are suppose to have.
Mich's pharmacy is schedule to make the big move on next Friday. I will be so glad!!! He is so excited about the "new" store.. I think it is going to be awesome. The customers I think are mixed...but once they see the new store and all the new stuff ...without a single increase in cost of their drugs... they will so happy.
So what is Lily Anne up to these days...well beside moving and kicking. (which I love feeling..except the cervix kicks.)
Week 26 of Pregnancy: Baby's Eyes Open
Your baby's eyes — which have been closed for the past few months — are now beginning to open. Your baby's brain-wave activity is also kicking in at this stage in fetal development, which means your little one can not only hear noises but can now also respond to them.
PS. Hope she does not see all :)

Lily Anne...Ummm
Is either learned how to dance or she is going to be very active. This past weekend she was so active! Especially Friday night, she found my cervix and decided to kick the tar out of it. Which is not exactly cute! Hurts! She is definitely active in cycles. Although, today I think she is tired for all the movement.
Time seems to have slipped right past me. We are less than 100 days to go! I thought I would never get here when we first found out. My 1st trimester was so SLOW. My 2nd started out slow...but ended really fast. It seems like once we found out what we were having time has just flown! I guess it was all the build up to the big moment!
I start in my 3rd trimester next week...that is hard to believe. But I love being pregnant but I am so ready for my old clothes. I hate looking at them in the closet and knowing they are not even going to fit no matter how much I try to make them.
I need to get more summer maternity clothes. I really do not want to spend the money on them...but it looks like I am going to have too. With the Georgia hot weather right around the corner....and swimsuits. Oh Boy!!

Turtles! You have to love them. We are doing Lily Anne's Room in Turtles! Although, it has been hard to find items for the nursery...but it makes it fun!
We did manage to find a awesome deal over the weekend for her bathroom. I know...I thought I told Mich that we could just leave it alone and keep what we had. But he really wanted to make it more kid/girly for her.
While at Kohls he found Turtle Time bathroom items on clearance. We could not find the shower curtain or the bath rug...but items for the counter and trashcan we bought. We did look at target and found a shower curtain that would go well and allow for us to change the them with out a whole lot of expense in the future.
So seems like everything is coming together.

25 Weeks and getting bigger by the minute
How far along: 25 weeks and 2 days
Total weight gain: Up 19 lbs. manily showing in my arms, now the face and BOOBS!
How much does baby weigh: I guessing a pound and half. Not sure.
Maternity clothes: 99% tops and 100% bottoms. But it is okay they are comfortable somedays!
Stretch marks: None so far. (at least from being pregnant)
Sleep: What is a full nights sleep? Will I ever see this again? I am up usually once or twice, then it is never back to sleep 100%.
Best moment this week: Oh, I would have to say watching Mich talk to my belly and Lily Anne kick in response.
Movement: LOTS ... All times now! Her favorite times are usually at 11pm and 2-4am. I am not sure I like the night schedule. Her days are all over..never consistent.
Food cravings: Whatever the moment calls for. But OJ has been since the beginning. I drink so much of it.
Belly button in or out: still a innie! I do not think it will ever "pop"
What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach, adult drinks, and
What I'm looking forward to: Everything! Everyday is a new day lately.
Milestone: Reaching my 3rd Tri...April 27, 2009! We are definitely over the big hump!

We passed the glucose test
Hooray! We passed the glucose test! We started with a level of 108 before the start of the test. and after the horrible drink.... my test results 109! Woohoo!!!
However, the nurse did say my hemoglobin level was on the low side. She did not seem alarmed but I am sure Dr. Pridgen will let me know about it at my next appt if it is a concern.

Lily Anne's Room!
We finally got Lily Anne's furniture delivered. Her room looks so different with the new paint and crown molding. Then we got her furniture delivered yesterday. Here are a few photos. Now we just have to get busy on her closet and pictures for the wall.
The hutch with Dresser and part of the glider. Then chester drawers.
Her crib...which I love. And her bookcase.
The glider! I love my Dutailier glider. For not having the paint sample with us when we ordered all the furniture and glider... I am amazed at how it matched perfectly.

Glucose Test Day!
YUCK!!!
Well the glucose test was this morning....I had no choice in flavor...ORANGE it was. The drink was okay...but it was SUPER cold. But near the end it was getting to be horrible. It was pure sugar in my system at 9:30am!!! Then I was sent to sit for an hour. Although, Dr. Pridgen thought it would be good way to pass some of the time by doing my monthly check up. Wooohoo! Lily Anne's seems to be doing just fine. Her heart rate was 154 and strong sounding. I love hearing it...but I also love that I can feel her moving. It is more reassuring as the weeks wait in between visits.Hopefully my results will be good and I do not have to go back for a repeat.

24 Weeks
Okay....so this weeks photo looks like a either comstipated or my face is swelling! Although, I think it is position of my head and no makeup!
We are working on the nursery. With 100% of my parents help we were able to repaint and hang the crown molding in the nursery. We also put crown molding the other rooms upstairs (except the bonus room). Furniture is set to be delivered on Saturday before 1:30. I will post photos of the nursery then. I can not believe that we ae actually getting furniture.
I have muy glucose test tomorrow morning. Not looking forward to drinking the nasty potion...but do I really have a choice.
Lily Anne has been very active this week. My mom and Amy were able to feel a few kicks this weekend. I was sorry that she could not see more. It would figure that when everyone leaves and it is TUESDAY that she makes huge showing.
Hope everyone on has a great Easter Weekend!

Happy V-Day! Crown molding check!!!
Happy V-day. If you are born now you have pretty good chance of living with lots of help. But lets hope Lily Anne decides to stay put for at least 15 more weeks.
We can check that off of our long to do list before her big arrival. My parents ended up coming down this weekend and puting up all the crown molding up stairs and repainting Lily Anne's future room. All that is left... shampoo the carpet. We have set the furniture to be delivered on Saturday. OMG....I can not wait! We are both so excited. Then we can really decorate her room.

Seeing and Feeling Lily Anne's movement
She is so funny!!!!! She must have really liked the chinese food, Mich and I had for dinner last night. She was so active! Active enough for Mich and I to enjoy the movement show from outside. Mich got a little freaked out by all the movement....it was exciting to see. Makes time fly.
