Christmas Time
I can not believe it is December...and I have been a slacker on my blog.
Lily Anne and Mich helped me celebrate my 30th birthday with lot of friends and family. Had a fabulous birthday party. We put our Christmas tree and decorated the outdside this past weekend. Lily Anne was excited over the tree and all the lights.
Things have been going wonderfully around the house and with Lily Anne. She is finally eating and got the hang of it. Love Rice Cereal and Oatmeal. Veggies are a different story.
Mich has his gallbladder surgery tomorrow. I am extemely nervous. I think he is too, but not saying anything to me.
Here is Lily Anne's Christmas Photo and some of her 3mo photos. We got them from the photographer yesterday. I was EXCITED!!
And I am throwing one more jsut for fun and to show off her way to cute outfit from this morning!

Lily Anne's Hospital Visit
Yes you read right Miss Lily Anne gave her parents quite the scare last week! She got over the cold she and things were going wonderful. Well Saturday she woke up with a green crudy nose adn a little temp. I immediately thought great another dang cold. But her temp got worse as the day went one...so out come the tylenol. It helped a little but she was becoming really fussy! Well that evening all HELL broke loose. Her temp really spiked so i called the after hours nurse she told us a temp bath. Lily Anne was livid with the bath but her temp dropped enough for us not have to go to the ER. Well after fighting the fussy baby she finally went to sleep at 6am!!! Then woke up screaming at 7:45am! We took her temp because she was sweating! 104!! NO WAY...so I took 4 more times just to make sure.
So off we flew to the peds office on Sunday am (yes our ped office has Sat and Sun hours). They took some blood...which came back horrible and we were sent and admitted to the Children's Hospital. Mine and Mich's heart were completely broken!
We were exhausted. After 4 days and LOTS of drugs, Lily Anne is doing wonderful and well.
She is a completely different baby. She smile uncontrollably, rolling, cooing (OMG!!!) and found her hands and feet. She is the highlight of my day. I can not get enough of her.
Thanks everyone for all the thoughts and prayers

Lily Anne is rolling!
In my quest for my family to get better...which I think we are. (I am seriously crossing my fingers.) Lily Anne is finally eating her normal amounts again! She is not sleeping through the night as she was before...but that will come around again. She has learned how to roll from belly to back. She has done it a few times while in the crib...but I never saw her do. Well last night on the play mat. She was looking in the mirror while on her belly...and bam she rolled. I thought oh my goodness! So I rolled her back on her belly and she did again. After several times, I got the video camera out and caught it on tape. I am so proud of her!! Her other wonderful talent is standing up (of course we do have to hold her...but she bounces) All of this makes me think she is growing up way to fast.
She is getting to be such a big girl. I am so looking forward to being able to feed her. I loved feeding my niece and nephew.

Seriously Body...got to give me a break
Okay so after my horrible week last week. I woke up early Sunday morning with the worst pain in my back. I thought OMG! I was soaked in sweat and my back feeling like a knife just got stuck in me.
I changed my clothes woke Mich up and said I was in pain. Immediately he gets alarmed. Then all of sudden I have the worst pain and ran to the bathroom..puking! NICE, I know. Could anything else happen!?! Now we are not sure do I go to the ER or just try to see if the pain goes away. I took a pain pill from my delivery...
Then pain went away....by morning. Now, I am stuck with a burning sensation everytime I have to pee. Great, so I have kideny stone (again) or a really bad UTI. I had kidney stones really bad in college, this is the exact thing that happened then.
Moving on. Lily Anne is making so progress. She is finally eating more and more. However, her never ending cough is not. We found that she like the pre-made formula a little better than my powder mix...although they are the exact same. We gave her this while at the peds office and she managed to keep it down. I am guessing that the premade is a little sweeter. So, while she is sick we have been feeding her this....but it is expensive. Now, we are mixing 1/2 premade and 1/2 powdered to get her back on the regualr stuff. If not we are just stuck with the premade.

My sick child.
We are completely exhausted after our week with Lily Anne being sick. I feel like we went back 30 steps!!!
Well, as we were so happy that she was completely sleeping through the night the week prior...this week has been a complete mess!! We have taken Lily Anne to the pedi. office 3 times...trying to figure what to do.
Although she seems to be getting better, she is not eating hardly anything. Which is doing nothing but making me worry. We pulled out the bumbo this weekend, since is getting control of her head. She looks so grown up. She loving her tummy time. Although, she is really working on rolling from tummy to back. She has only rolled once so far. I was so excited.
Thanks to the group hat exchange, Lily Anne is sporting her two new hats! They are SO cute. I can not wait til the weather changes and can really wear them. I was so excited when I saw the package in the mailbox today. It definitely brighten my day, since I have been really in the dumps this week.
We are really praying for a good weekend, so we can get back our normal selfs and have our happy baby back.

Reflexes....a good blogger friend wrote this!
Thanks to a good blogger that I followed...I had to totally put this on mine to read and re-read over. I can relate to everyone of them!!!! Thanks E! (her blog)
"Ok, so there are some reflexes that babies are born with that help them survive, like the sucking reflex, I get it. There also born with the startle reflex, which I'm sure serves some purpose in the greater scheme of things, but all it seems to me to do is wake up a perfectly sweet sleeping baby. But I bet you may not have known that babies are born with other reflexes too, although you may not find them in any textbook.
There's the "Out of Arms" reflex. This is when your baby is just about ready to go to sleep in your arms or is already in a deep sleep and you ever so gently place him or her into the crib and their eyes fly wide open. I live in fear of this reflex.
Don't forget the "Sitting Down" reflex. This is when your baby fusses every time you sit down but coos and giggles as soon as you stand up. It doesn't matter how you hold them or rock them, if you're sitting down that baby is pissed off. Why do babies care if you're sitting or standing? As long as you're playing with them or soothing them it shouldn't matter.
Then there's the "Dinner's Ready" reflex. This is when the baby starts to cry or fuss or become hungry the second that dinner is ready and you sit down to eat. You may also know this reflex as the "Just Sat Down" reflex or the "Just Got Undressed to Get In the Shower" reflex or "Starting to Blog" reflex.
And finally there's the "I'll Make a Liar Out of You" reflex. This is when you proudly tell a stranger how your baby never spits up and then she spits up all over the place. Or when you complain to your mother how difficult it is to get the baby down for a nap when she promptly konks out."

2 months!
She weighed in at 10lbs 8ozs. Measured 24in long.
She is growing up so fast. Those who like the growth %'s, Lily Anne's is in the top 95% in length, in the higher 25-50% in weight, head in the middle of 25-50%. I did not care much the %'s, but she has grown since her last app at 2wks. (6lb 7ozs, 21 inches)
They took care of her belly button...which she was semi okay with. Then the shots came....and OMG she screamed blood murder. Poor DH had to hold her hand then tried to sooth her when she was done. Since she would not stop screaming he handed her to me....She had the biggest tears in her eyes. I felt horrible. I had to hold back my own tears.
Came home and called work told them I would be in much later or maybe tomorrow. No way am I leaving my baby! (even if it is with DH at home) I could not sit at my desk knowing she was not 100%. Plus she still was crying when we got home. Work was very understanding.

First day at Day Care
So Friday was Lily Anne test day at Daycare. I surprise how well we BOTH did. I was nervus at first...but I have to get use to this. Lily Anne did just fine. I went grocery shopping and some shopping for a few things to go back to work in. It was very nice to go with just my mom!
I picked Lily Anne up and all the daycare could say was how incredible she was. They wanted to keep her and not give her back. (Although, she has been a very very easy baby....ducking from tomatos). I was reassured that I was doing good for Lily Anne. So, it is back to work bright and early on Monday. CRAZY! I have so ejoyed my eight weeks. Here are a few photos from Friday:
In my carseat ready to go.
Ready to walk in...big moment.
Okay...time to go...Lily Anne sound a sleep
Although, she did not nap normally at daycare....she still did not sleep through the night. Oh well. PS..funny...When DH was giving her bath that night she pooped in the water!! So, We had to bath her in the sink...here is photo....she liked it I think.

My naked baby
My naked sleeping baby. Lily Anne decided that she did not to wear clothes this afternoon. When I went to change her diaper she peed all over herself and the outfit mommy put her in. Oh well. So mommy said she will get Lily Anne redressed after my lunch...umm...Lily Anne decided to take a nap.
So here is my baby sleeping in nothing but her diaper. I did manage to cover her and she uncovered herself.
